Private labeling is a way for Amazon Sellers to work on selling their own branded products. This is a great way to limit your competition, increase profit & sales, increase brand loyalty and allows you to have control over the product, permitting you to enhance it in any way you want.
For an example, manufacturers and suppliers will produce one product and the retailers/sellers will contact the supplier or manufacturer and discuss branding. This supplier or manufacturer can sell the same product to different sellers, with different brand names and optional features.
One thing to keep in mind when looking to do private label is the cost. It’s not cheap and can become expensive fast. This is the most expensive option between reselling and drop-shipping. But you can also make a lot more money through this option. Keep in mind that you have to pay for manufacturing, branding, marketing, Amazon fees and many other fees as well.
