Sellozo Account Setup Guide: Get Up & Running in No Time!

Welcome to Sellozo! This guide will walk you through setting up your account, handling user permissions, connecting your SP-API, and getting your campaigns optimized for success.

Let’s dive in! 🚀

🔑 How Do I Get User Permissions to a Seller Central Account?

Before you can fully connect Sellozo to your Amazon Seller Central account, you’ll need the right permissions. Here’s how to set them up:

  1. Log in to Amazon Seller Central with your admin credentials.

  2. Navigate to Settings > User Permissions.

  3. Click “Manage Permissions” next to the user you want to grant access to.

  4. Under Advertising, ensure the user has “View and Edit” permissions.

  5. Click Save.

These permissions allow Sellozo to manage your ads and pull in the necessary data for optimization.

💡 Important: If you have previously used any other campaign management software, make sure to revoke their user permissions in Seller Central. This ensures that no other software will interfere by making campaign or bid adjustments alongside Sellozo.

🔗 How to Connect Your SP-API to Sellozo

To unlock Sellozo’s full potential, you’ll need to connect your SP-API (Selling Partner API). This allows us to import all your Amazon business data—not just PPC info—so you can get a holistic view of your sales, costs, and profits.

🚀 Steps to Connect SP-API:

  1. Go to “My Account”

    • In your Sellozo dashboard, navigate to My Account.

  2. Click “Authorize SP-API”

    • Find the gray “Authorize SP-API” button and click it.

    • This will redirect you to Amazon Seller Central.

  3. Log In & Grant Access

    • Log into Seller Central and follow the prompts to authorize Sellozo.

  4. Success!

    • You’ll be redirected back to Sellozo, where you’ll see a message: “You have successfully connected your SP-API to the Sellozo platform.” 🎉

📊 What’s Next?

  • Sellozo will start importing data like:

    • Gross Revenue (sales, refunds, reimbursements)

    • Sales Breakdown (PPC vs. organic sales)

    • Costs (FBA fees, commissions, taxes)

  • COGS Reminder: You’ll need to manually enter your Cost of Goods Sold in ProductVu to calculate true profit per SKU.

💡 Note: It takes about 24 hours for all data to appear. If you see a spinning wheel on your Dashboard, it’s still importing. Check progress in the top-right corner.

🎉 I’ve Successfully Signed Up—Now What?

Awesome! You’re all set up—now let’s get to work!

🛠️ What Happens First?

  • Existing campaigns will be pulled into Sellozo.

  • Head to PPC Manager to:

    • Manage existing campaigns.

    • Launch new campaigns directly from Sellozo.

  • Dive into ProductVu to:

    • Enter COGS and track True Profit per SKU.

    • Tag products for better organization.

    • See how your PPC campaigns impact organic sales.

⚡ The Most Important Step: Turn On the Optimizer!

  1. Go to PPC Manager.

  2. Use the toggle to turn on the Optimizer for the campaigns you want Sellozo to manage.

Once activated, here’s what happens:

  • Auto campaigns are launched to collect valuable search term data.

  • After your first sale, Sellozo creates manual campaigns with optimized bids and keywords.

  • Auto campaigns run at a reduced budget while manual campaigns are fine-tuned daily.

  • The Optimizer continues working until your campaigns hit your target ACoS.

Additional Considerations:

  • If your campaign has little or no keyword data, the Optimizer will test keywords, which may result in higher spend and a higher ACoS% during the testing phase.

    • To avoid this, you can:

      • Launch a new campaign structure from PPC Manager and let Sellozo transfer keywords based on performance data and converting search terms.

      • Use the Conservative Bidding Strategy for existing campaigns, which will limit testing and focus on more proven keywords.

💡 Quick Tips:

  • Don’t turn off existing campaigns that are already performing well.

  • Avoid setting ACoS too low—this can limit traffic.

  • The Optimizer runs once daily and you’ll see updates in your Activity Log within 24 hours.
